more spring break

Maelea likes to listen to Pappy play music. This time she really got into "playing" music herself. She was quite proud.

We also spent alot of time up at Elmo's old place. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. And of course played some horseshoes.

Maelea and her daddy loving the country life.

Maelea loves her Pappy and Pippo. Of course she thought she had to go everywhere Pippo went the entire time.

Alex is watching the final four live at this very moment. And I keep looking for him on tv. He's behind the Kentucky bench.

Spring Break 2012

This spring break was a good one. Busy and full of people, family, and friends.
I'm kind of skipping ahead of the order of the days so Charity can see a few pictures of her family. :)
The Finleys came up to north Arkansas and had a grand ole country time.

Of course Maelea had the grandest time of all. She got to romp all over the place and was in heaven.

It is clear to see that Maelea wants to romp some more and I am keeping this from happening. I'm a mean mom.

My husband is on his way to New Orleans right now for the final four. I already miss him. If I'm lucky I may have one picture to post on here of him at the games. But I'm betting I have zero.

to the park

This was actually about 3 weeks to a month ago when the weather was nice enough to take Maelea to the nice little park in our neighborhood and when we weren't all sick with allergies. I just knew she would love it.
Boy was I wrong.

She loved one thing and one thing ONLY.

She went up and down the stairs a million times and did not want to do anything else.

Home we walked.

helping out

Let me start by saying thank you to those of you that sent little messages, texts, and even cards saying you were praying for me and for all the worry and stress. I know I shouldn't worry and stress. I have faith in God and know that he takes care of things and in his time. I'm just the type to want things done on my time and I have a hard time being patient. In comes Mr. Patient himself, Alex. And my parents. Anyways, lots of stress relieved and thank goodness for a wonderful spring break. More on that later.

Maelea is very into "helping" me with laundry. Of course her favorite thing is to ride in the basket but she also loves handing me the things to put into the washer or helps with taking each piece out to fold.

She is also obsessed with shoes. Her favorite thing is to go into our closet and go to my side and pull shoes off the rack and wear them all around. Usually the louder the clomp the better. But on this day, she wanted to put on my mud boots.

Now that I've downloaded pics, it shouldn't be so long before another post.
